MY FAIR LADY

Last night I had the pleasure of watching MY FAIR LADY. This film is about a Professor who dares an acquaintance that he can teach any woman to speak so properly that he could pass her off as a duchess. So, he challenges himself to turn a woman, with a poor accent, into royalty. My Fair Lady was originally a book that was formed into a play and than adapted to film. The costumes in this movie are delightful. They help tell a story from beginning to end. You are able to see the crescendo from Rags to Riches.

The costume designer for this film was Cecil Beaton. Due to Cecil's strong photography skills, all the scenes in this movie seems to appear as a photo still. I found myself eager to see what was next!

You need to check out this movie! It's a good break from all this reality TV.

PEACE!
